  1. When are you due?
The estimated due date is June 14, 2008, which is to say that I’m due whenever he feels like coming (and we pray it’s around that time!).

  2.  Do you guys have a name for the baby yet?
Nolan Eugene, named after Aaron’s first friend.  If in the event that the ultrasound technicians were wrong and our fetus is, in fact, female, the name will be Claire Elizabeth.

   3. So, why write a blog about your pregnancy?
Because I like whining, and with the advent of the internet it’s fun! and easy!  Also, as it is my goal to make sure that all interested parties are on the same page about my pregnancy, I’d like to have all my kvetching in one convenient place. Blogs allow you to post photos and archive written memories online for anyone who wants them. Hopefully, this can be a mine of information for any friend or family member who really wants to know what’s going on with this crucial part of mine and Aaron’s life.

   4. Can’t you just call with updates?
Uhh… Yeah, about that… I guess the short answer would be “I could, but I don’t.” As most of you already know, I am pretty horrible at keeping in touch over the phone. (Ask my mom. She gets a ring about three times per year, tops.)

My lame excuse is that I’m lazy very, very disorganized. I’m also slightly shy; it’s hard to start a conversation over the phone with people you’ve rarely spoken face to face with, you know? Hopefully that will change soon and I’ll be getting into contact with a lot of you in a more traditional manner.
